Who is fabricmatcher.com?
Fabricmatcher.com is the inspirational collaboration between the husband and wife design team, Damian and Sarah Fielke. Sarah (a passionate quilter and crafter, and part owner of Material Obsession) and Damian (a career business and new product development expert) joined forces to help develop a crafting community, where sewers and quilters from around the world, are able to make better design decisions on how they use color and fabric to suit their own lifestyle. Our fabric
All our fabric orders are fulfilled by Material Obsession.
We only the finest quality merchandise. Most of our fabrics are 100% patchwork quality cotton suitable for craft and dressmaking unless otherwise indicated.
44 inches unless otherwise indicated.
All our fabric images are supplied by our fabric suppliers. Color and texture are very important in the selection of item and we display their pictures in the best possible way. Sizing is equally important and we try to as accurately portray scaled images as supplied. We have worked hard to ensure the pattern and fabrics scales work together to give you the best representation of a pattern matched to fabric. However, images and fabrics real will never match exactly. Please do not try to match thread to these pictures.
Our minimum cut is 25cm.
Since our minimum cut is 25cm, our pricing for fabric is structured around this measurement. Prices and quantities reflected on our website and on all invoices are reflected by the 25cm unit.
All yardages are sold in continuous pieces.
Our patterns
We have worked closely with fabricmatcher to best represent our patterns online. We have the fabric requirements matched to the closest 25cm the fabric requirements for each pattern. We have also looked at the safe side of 25cm so you will probably get more fabric than you need but it will leave you some overages incase you make any mistakes when cutting.
We have also supplied some recommended fabric selections on some patterns that you can purchase right then or change if you like.
All our patterns are developed by the team at Material Obsession.
